More inhabitants of the moss garden/forest!....I'm thinking up a story to go along with these characters... Pen, ink and watercolour on watercolour paper which I first mottle with acrylic inks, 20 x 28 cm, 2008.

Given 2009-01-13

"... this work with very special style, it s different with what I usually see of fairy tale illustration". Denizens of the Moss Forest by ~FloralFaerie combines delicate patterns, stippling and texturing in this lovely piece... the meticulous linework over almost random soft mottling and dripping gives the perfect fairytale atmosphere, showing a scene filled with charming details and a sense of childhood wonder.
